Main role and expertise: In line with its green ambitions, electrical and operational know-how and Push-It development for inland waterways KOTUG will assist in research, development and provision on the design and interface of the battery to its vessel and moreover with the provision of a pilot vessel for the project. KOTUG will thus be the key facilitator of the demonstration activities and will collaborate with all partners involved in the technical developments as well as demonstration phase extensively. KOTUG further communicate all operational data gathered during the piloting activities with EDP, SPEAR and Foreship to allow real-time evaluation and validation of the pilot activities. KOTUG will further ensure that a full year of demonstration activities is accomplished.
